Katoomi Connect Shopify integration

Shopify + NetSuite, Built In

Katoomi Connect ships Shopify order sync, inventory push, fulfillment updates, and payout reconciliation pre-built inside NetSuite — with order dedup so migration from your existing platform is straightforward.

What you avoid

  • External iPaaS platform subscriptions
  • Per-connector or per-endpoint middleware fees
  • Managing integrations outside NetSuite

What you gain

  • 12 production-ready Shopify flows (not a blank integration canvas)
  • Operations dashboard: logs, retry, run-now, queue visibility
  • Easy migration from your existing platform — order dedup so you don’t re-import historical orders

Pre-Built Shopify Data Flows

Bidirectional sync is delivered as independent scheduled flows — enable only what you need, each with its own logging and retry.

Shopify → NetSuite

Inbound flows

  • ✓ Orders → Sales Orders / Cash Sales (POS & web, tax, discounts, gift cards)
  • ✓ Customers → create and update from Shopify delta
  • ✓ Refunds → Cash Refunds / Credit Memos (Loop RMA linkage when enabled)
  • ✓ Order cancellations → close NetSuite line items
  • ✓ Product / variant / inventory IDs → stamp NetSuite items for downstream sync
  • ✓ Shopify Payments payouts → custom payout records

NetSuite → Shopify

Outbound flows

  • ✓ Item fulfillments → Shopify fulfillment API (location mapping)
  • ✓ Available inventory → Shopify (delta watermark sync)
  • ✓ Kit / group inventory → Shopify quantity calculations
  • ✓ Sales orders → Customer deposits (Shopify billing path)
  • ✓ Sales orders → Invoices with deposit application

Financial reconciliation

Payout flows pull Shopify Payments settlements and match transactions against Cash Sales, Cash Refunds, Customer Deposits, and Invoices — creating NetSuite Deposit records with variance staging. No more manual payout spreadsheets.

How the Shopify Connector Handles Your Data

Built for Shopify and Shopify POS brands that run inventory, fulfillment, and accounting in NetSuite.

Orders and customers

  • Web orders become sales orders, and POS orders become cash sales.
  • Customers are matched by Shopify ID, then email, and created if new, with addresses kept current.
  • Items match by SKU. Discounts, discount codes, gift cards, shipping method, and tax carry over.
  • Shopify’s fraud risk rating is stored on the order.

Fulfillment and inventory

  • Item fulfillments go to Shopify with tracking, including partial shipments and multiple tracking numbers.
  • Available quantity is pushed to Shopify by mapped location.
  • Kit and item-group quantities are calculated from their components.

Refunds and cancellations

  • Refunds become cash refunds, or credit memos with customer refunds for invoiced orders.
  • Cancelled orders close the matching sales order lines.

Payouts

  • Shopify Payments payouts are pulled and matched to NetSuite payments by transaction.
  • Connect creates the bank deposit, with fees, disputes, and adjustments as deposit lines.
  • Variances are logged per payout.

Moving off Celigo

  • Orders Celigo already imported are recognized by their Celigo order ID and skipped, so cutover does not create duplicates.

The engine behind every connector

How Katoomi Connect Works

The Shopify connector runs on Katoomi Connect, a native NetSuite integration platform installed in your account as SuiteApp Bundle 527788. There is no separate integration platform to log in to and no middleware subscription.

Runs inside NetSuite

Schedules, logs, the queue, and settings live on NetSuite records. API credentials are stored in NetSuite API Secrets.

Your schedule, per flow

Run each flow every 15 or 30 minutes, every 1 to 24 hours, daily, weekly, or once. Start any flow on demand.

Operations Dashboard

Open errors, 24-hour success and error counts, records in progress, and the queue on one screen in NetSuite. Pause or resume any schedule or integration.

Every record logged

Each sync is logged with its request, its response, and a status: pending, processing, success, error, or resolved.

One-click retry

Retry a failed record from the dashboard, and edit its payload first if the source data needs a fix.

No duplicates

Connect writes the other system’s IDs onto NetSuite records and checks them before creating anything.

Common Questions

Can I migrate from another integration platform?

Yes — that is one of the most common Katoomi Connect use cases. Connect covers orders, customers, refunds, fulfillments, inventory, and payouts with pre-built flows, plus order dedup for a clean cutover from your existing platform.

Can I migrate without duplicate orders?

Yes — Katoomi Connect supports order deduplication using IDs from your previous integration platform, so cutover stays clean without re-importing orders you already synced.

How long does implementation take?

Most Shopify + NetSuite deployments are live in 1–2 weeks. Katoomi configures location mapping, tax codes, payment methods, and flow schedules — you manage day-to-day operations from the NetSuite dashboard.

Does Connect cover platforms beyond Shopify?

Katoomi Connect also includes Extensiv 3PL, Mirakl, Klaviyo, Loop Returns, and PayPal integrations — many customers consolidate multiple platforms onto Connect. Affirm, Afterpay, and other platforms are available as custom builds.

What if I need a flow that isn’t listed?

Reach out — if you need an extra Shopify flow, a connector we don’t ship yet, or a variation on an existing sync, Katoomi builds on the same Connect engine. Additional flows and integrations are added regularly and are usually straightforward to scope.
